Our pumps can be constructed in the traditional execution with a standard c-face mounted motor with mechanical seal. Or they may be fabricated with a magnetic coupling to eliminate the mechanical seals altogether. In doing so, the pump impeller (or rotors) rotate on a sleeve bearing with no seal to the outside. This ensures sterility and removes the weakest link on any pump.
